Winners of 2007 Photo Competition

Winners of the 2007 Central West Catchment Management Authority (CMA) photo competition have been revealed, unearthing a depth of photographic talent in the Central West region.

The 2007 Theme was:

"You Can make a Difference:

in the Home, In the Paddock in the Community and in the Catchment".

The 2007 winners were:

Open Category

1st Prize - Charles McKean 'Sunset'

(artistic photo of hills hoist and clothes trolley in Bathurst backyard)

2nd Prize - Janelle Bowler 'Autumn Shadow'

(Autumn leaves on a rain water tank at Molong)

Secondary School Category

1st Prize - George North 'The Way Water Runs'

(Landscape photo taken at Molong of dams and revegetation)

Primary School Category

1st Prize - Charlotte Benton-Bryant 'Renew, Reuse, Recycle'

(Taken at Wambangalang, Dubbo of Recycling bins)

2nd Prize - Tyler Haesler 'My Frog Pond'

(Taken at Dubbo of a frog pond)
