The Central West CMA is pleased to announce winners of the 2009 Catchment Photographic Competition.

"Fishing at Ophir inspires to get out in the fresh air and enjoy the bush lifestyle."

Photographer: Suzanne Rutter, Bundy On

"This is our dog Bundy. The photo was taken at Bathurst mustering sheep for drafting. It's about a kelpie dog being ready for work."

 

2ND PRIZE

Photographer: Robert Baillie - Making a Splash

"These beautiful grass parrots were photographed bathing in the shallows of the Macquarie River near Bathurst. They are typical of the vast number of fauna that live within the catchment ecosystem."

"I captured this photo in our backyard on the outskirts of Mudgee, lambs are as good at posing as humans."

"The frog was on a log on our farm. Frogs are an essential part of our catchment. Frogs have always been my favourite."
